LMC's Share to Compare Employee Benefits Benchmarking

Our survey is currently closed. Check back for the 2021 survey.

Employee Benefits Benchmarking

How do your employee benefits compare to other employers in the same geographic area, industry, and size? LMC's annual Midwest regional employee benefits benchmarking survey for mid-market employers provides valuable benchmarking data that will help you make appropriate changes to your plans without compromising your ability to attract and retain your most valuable asset, your employees.

Some of the information gathered in the survey asks questions such as:
  • What type of benefits do you offer your employees?
  • What is your deductible, coinsurance, copays, etc.?
  • What is your contribution strategy?
  • What ancillary lines of coverage do you offer?
  • What is your time off and leave of absence policy?
  • What are you doing to combat the increasing costs of your benefit plans?
  • What are you doing in the area of wellness and disease management programs?

Questions about the survey may be directed to Ali Clark at ali.clark@lmcins.com.

Why participate?

During my annual strategic planning process, I use the benchmarking data I receive from LMC’s Share to Compare survey to help me set contribution rates as well as evaluate plan design.  Further, I reference the LMC benchmarking data in employee open enrollment meetings as it supports our message regarding the market competitiveness of our medical plans.
