Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Lead, grow and coach staff.
Conduct performance and salary reviews.
Act as an advocate for staff in administering workflow policy and procedural issues with Account Executives that assures excellent client service and operating efficiency.
Participate in the selection and implementation of appropriate technology solutions.
Promote efficiency of processes.
Research and develop procedures.
Assure training and technical assistance to staff.
Share technical insurance knowledge by serving as a resource for staff.
Monitor work in process and directly assist with client service needs as necessary.
Develop and implement quality control program.
Assure client documents are prepared and processed accurately and within established time frames.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Pursue a program of personal and professional development.
College degree, professional designation or related classes or equivalent training and/or experience.
Six or more years of related experience in insurance company or agency, employee benefits marketing and/or underwriting experience preferred.
A minimum of 5 years management experience.
Strong leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to accomplish the described duties through the use of appropriate computer and general office equipment.
