In this full time position you can expect to:
Develop sales plans and goals for the company to ensure targeted new business volume
Actively research prospects
Monitor existing accounts to ensure appropriate products and services are provided consistent with their changing needs
Maintain effective personal relationships with key personnel in client organizations to anticipate needs and provide professional advice and solutions
Maintain appropriate involvement with industry and community organizations to improve personal status and represent LMC
Strong organizational skills
Ability to think outside the box
Desire to win
Relationship building skills and leadership skills.
Must possess a college degree, professional designation or equivalent and/or experience preferred.
A minimum of two years business experience required in a sales capacity.
Applicants must have the ability seek out new business prospects on a consistent basis through cold calling, networking and relationship building. They must also be able to influence decision makers at all levels of the organization, be action oriented, and posses a drive for results.
Candidates will have effective oral, written and presentation skills, good organizational ability, and a valid Iowa Driver's License as travel is required with possible overnights.
