Commercial Lines Account Manager Assistant

Location: ​Davenport, Iowa

The Commercial Lines Account Manager Assistant supports the Commercial Lines Account Managers in providing sales and service to Commercial Lines clients and Account Executives in accordance with the objectives and procedures as outlined by the organization.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist other team members, with an emphasis as a subject matter expert in the agency management, document imaging and certificate issuance systems.
  • Assist the Account Managers by providing service to the client regarding their insurance policies, such as:
    1. Issue proof of the client’s insurance to their vendors and creditors.
    2. Make changes to policies as instructed by the Account Manager or Client.
    3. Communicate with insurance company staff on behalf of the Account Manager.
  • Update the agency database for assigned accounts.
    1. Invoice and review for accuracy endorsements, audits and policies.
    2. Report discrepancies to the Account Manager.
    3. Review activity lists for pending activities.
    4. Send correspondence and set appropriate activity follow-up.
  • Pursue a program of personal and professional development.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
