Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2010
On December 19, 2009, Congress passed - and now President Obama has signed - the Department of Defense Appropriations Act of 2010. In addition to military funding, this act expands the current ARRA COBRA subsidy length an additional 6 months and extends the applicable time period that individuals are eligible through February 28, 2010.

Rep. Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-DC) on Jan. 13 introduced the Lifelong Improvements in Food and Exercise (LIFE) Act (H.R.4452).
